This 66-year-old female patient met with Dr. Horriat to address longstanding aesthetic concerns of her upper arms. She shared that her arms have always felt disproportionately large and that she avoids short sleeves due to discomfort and overheating, especially in the summer. Despite attempts at weight loss, her arm size and skin laxity persisted. After a thorough evaluation, Dr. Horriat determined that this patient had a combination of excess fat and skin laxity contributing to the appearance of her arms. Having previously undergone an abdominoplasty and not planning further weight loss, she elected to move forward with Brachioplasty to remove excess skin and fat and achieve a more comfortable, streamlined arm contour.
